Physical Edition Status: Final Stretch and 2026 Roadmap

We want to reach out to give you a transparent update regarding the status of the Eden Genesis physical editions, following our announcement in September about our partnership with Tesura.
We are happy to confirm that the project is moving forward steadily and we have officially entered the final manufacturing process. However, we want to be very realistic about the timeline so you know exactly what to expect.
Although we are in the "home stretch," this does not mean shipping is immediate. Manufacturing high-quality physical editions is a complex process that involves several stages of validation, printing, pressing, and assembly. Therefore, there are still a few months of work ahead before the boxes are ready to leave the warehouse.
We prefer to be upfront about this now and remain cautious with dates, as we prioritize ensuring the product reaches you in perfect condition rather than rushing the process.
The good news is that everything is on the right track, with no unexpected issues, and we are hitting our milestones. Thanks to this steady progress, we can guarantee 100% that your copy will be in your home within this year, 2026.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and continued patience. We are working on something very special, and we assure you that the wait during these final months will be worth it.

Eden Genesis: The Physical Edition is Now in Production!

After the wait following the Eden Genesis Kickstarter campaign, we can finally announce that the physical edition is already in production. We know you’ve shown great patience during this process, and we have worked hard to deliver the best possible version of the game. Over the next few days, we will also be revealing some exciting surprises.
We couldn’t share this news earlier, as making this physical edition a reality has been both a major challenge and the result of a complex negotiation. Thankfully, Tesura has placed their trust in our project, and with their strong support and expertise in physical editions, we can guarantee that the final product will be a true gem.
We want to thank you once again for your patience and remind everyone that the September date has always been an estimate. Kickstarter projects often face unexpected difficulties beyond our control, so we kindly ask for your continued understanding. Now that the NDAs allow us to talk more openly, we will keep a more fluid and collaborative communication with the community going forward. Thank you all for standing with us.
Unfortunately, we also have to share some bad news: the Xbox version will not be possible. The minimum requirements and production costs make this version unfeasible. Therefore, we kindly ask all Xbox backers to send us a private message so we can discuss individually the best solution for each case. Sadly, the number of requests for the Xbox version was very low, which made reaching an agreement impossible.
Thanks to your incredible support on Kickstarter, indie studios like ours can make the impossible possible. We are truly grateful to our community for walking this path with us.

Dear backers,
First of all, we want to sincerely apologize for the silence over the past few months. We’re fully aware that the lack of updates has caused concern among some of you, and we completely understand the criticism.
The main reason behind our absence has been our decision—perhaps a misguided one—to focus more on personal communications and on our official Discord channel. Additionally, much of what we’ve been working on is currently under NDA, which has made it difficult to share anything truly meaningful or exciting. This led us to believe that it was better to remain silent than to share updates with no real relevance. However, we now understand that communication is important, even if there are no big announcements.
That’s why, in response to some of your messages, we’re releasing this update to let you know that we are still working hard to deliver the promised physical rewards. The initial estimated delivery date was set for September 2025, and that remains our target. As we get closer to that date and have more concrete news, we’ll make sure to keep you informed.
We also want to remind everyone that producing a physical edition is always a major challenge for an indie studio, especially for a game like Eden Genesis, which doesn’t involve a massive production volume. Still, we’re progressing steadily and doing our best to meet our goals. That’s all we can share for now—but rest assured, we’ll update you as soon as we can.

Launch Update: Eden Genesis is available now on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation

Dear backers,
It's August 6! Eden Genesis is finally available on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation consoles, coming soon to Nintendo Switch in September. It’s been a while since we reached our funding goal in record time, making our Kickstarter campaign a great success and it’s all thanks to you. Your contributions and support during those weeks were essential, and that’s why we thank you one more time!
Eden Genesis is available now on Steam and consoles, except for Nintendo, which will be available in a month. Most of you have received your digital keys to enjoy the game on your preferred platform. For PS5 and PS4 might take a bit longer. Just keep in mind that due to the Nintendo Switch release scheduled for September, those can’t be distributed until then.
Regarding the physical releases and rewards, we’re working hard to start on the manufacturing ASAP. We’ll contact you in the upcoming months with regular updates about this matter. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy Eden Genesis and help Leah Anderson overcome the deadly disease that is destroying her mind!

The launch day is approaching! Eden Genesis will be available on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation on August 6 at 05:00 pm (UTC). The Nintendo Switch version will take a bit more time, aiming for a release in September to ensure the best performance.
